With a Fine Tradition
The stud is also domicil of the Brandenburger Hunting Club, an honorable and lively association which regularly operates drag-hunts, thereby taking advantage of the idyllic scenery of the beautiful Spreewald.
Each and every year there are two 2 drag-hunts to be enjoyed by horse riders and visitors.
» "Große Märkische Jagd",
every year at the 3rd of October commencing from the village square in Köthen
» "Gestütsjagd", mostly on the same weekend with service attendance in the Church of Krausnick
Both hunts are supervised by Bernd Schiel, Master of Fields.
